Trespa &
Scientific Counter Tops (Initial portions are being fabricated):
After teaming up to create the interiors of the Bell Clubhouse,
Trespa and one of their local installers requested office furniture
design and art concepts. Reveal Studio, Inc. developed a series of
ergonomic curvilinear desks, conference tables and graphic arts to
explore design options beyond the standard applications of the
material.
Preview City, Las
Vegas (Concept): To expand on an existing successful business
model, the market research client requested concepts to entice a
variety of companies to participate in the front end of a market
research focus group facility. The concept was split into two parts.
The front was to be a “museum of the new”, that would allow
businesses to celebrate and test their latest inventions. The back
area was a group of standard focus group rooms to allow the client’s
staff to conduct market research for their participating clientele.
Squirrel house
(Completion scheduled for summer 2004): The owner of a music
summer camp asked for a “house for a squirrels” that had burrowed
under a dorm, rather than exterminating them. The concept was
developed as a “tree house” with two separate chambers attached to
the structural frame. To add levity to the concept and in the spirit
of squirrelly musicians, the skinny one is the Chuck (Berry) house
and the larger one is the Elvis house. Landing platforms allow the
squirrels to come and go as they please from the adjacent tree
canopy. Removable floors and the scooped bottom floor allow for easy
cleaning and vented panels keep the houses fresh.
